MATT GRINDON IS 2006 FANTASY F1 CHAMPION!
Topsy Davies Claims Constructors Crown
After a closely fought competition both on the track and within our own little fantasy
world championship, MATT GRINDON takes his second FF1 team title in style, beating the
resurgent TOPSY DAVIES into second place. In fact, these two old foes completely
locked out the first four positions, leagues ahead of the rest of the field with only
MURRAY GRINDON and last year's double champion TIM LEGG keeping them honest. Matt becomes only the second
FF1 double Team Champion after his success in 2003, equalling the record held by
ROB LEGG (1999 and 2000).
It's not all bad news for TOPSY DAVIES mind - she takes the 2006 Constructor's
Championship to claim her first ever title, knocking 2005 Champion TIM LEGG into
second place. MATT GRINDON completes a successful year by finishing third.
